THIS. FIGHT. IS. AMAZING!

Gero's fighting style is so robotic and I think you captured it perfectly. Well done with part of his face showing like that. It really gives credit to a fight by two highly underestimated characters.

Hahaha, not to worry, Goku: Yamcha no doubt has a trick up his sleeve!

Gorgeous work, RMK. You really sell the viciousness of the fight. Loved some of the art techniques you use, too, like the way you differentiated between what Goku was saying and what he was thinking on page 13. I'm super-excited to see what comes next. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to drooling over these pages...

So much excellence was in this one chapter, particularly in how this fight is being carried out. You have Yamcha's oddly badass combination of viciousness and desperation, against Gero's calculative and cold approach to combat. RMK, you did it beautifully, as the title of this chapter was very appropriate.

This was so worth the wait, even with the cliff-hanger at the end. I'm already looking forward to the next chapter even more than I was prior to reading this one. I REALLY, REALLY wish a publisher would offer to pick up this story, the way they've done that embarrassment that is The Case of Being Reincarnated As Yamcha. Or better yet, even animate it!!

He's probably going to apply what he learned from his master into that Kamehameha. Sharp ki waves to slice his opponent and burrow through them. A Kamehame-Drill!

That's a really amazing idea I wish I had thought of. He does have some tricks, but that drill attack gets cooler the more I picture it.

You should use it, I'll give you free liberty to use such a Godly idea for your story. In exchange of your most tasty dish of course.

LOL @ Beerus

Beerus won the comments section of this chapter hands down with that comment.

THAT DRILL WILL BE THE DRILL THAT WILL PIERCE THE HEAVENS!

I wouldn't go so far as that, but he does show a great deal of promise. But I worry he might work himself too hard before he gets a chance to do any lasting damage to Gero .... Yamcha's got a shot to overclock the old-timer lol Get it?

I see the reference was lost on you. How about combining it with his Spirit Ball in a way where he can guide the sharpened energy like he does with the Spirit Ball, like guided blades or fangs that move at incredible speed. At first one think it is a blast, but BAM! you're bleeding. You won't know what hit you.

I imagine a Goku Vs Cell type attack. Charge his KAMEHAMEHA and maybe Yamcha learned a technique like instant transmission and appears point blank infront of Gero and blows his arse away.. or perhaps behind him. Either way he wouldn't be able to react. Would be a cool callback to the Cell games. On the other hand knowing RMK... he has something sneaky up his sleeve ;)

I, and probably a lot of other people, have always identified with Yamcha because, like him. we've always felt like we're second class, that anything we accomplish doesn't matter much compared to those of the Gokus and Vegetas of the world, who make us feel small by comparison.

But here, seeing Yamcha actually get to be the hero on his own merits, overcoming his own demons and limits, and proving his worth both to himself and those around him, is both really meaningful and inspiring, especially compared to what Toei and Toriyama have done with Yamcha in Dragon Ball Super, where it only seems to confirm all the shit people talk about him-that he really is a born loser.

TL;DR: I love this series, and I really wish it were canon. Keep it up!

I truly hope the series continues to be an inspiration as time goes on. I want to continue digging deeper into the characters in this world and examining hearts and motives. Thank you for taking the time to write. I always read comments if you guys take the time to write them.

Talvez combine el kame hame ha, con el soukidan y antes del impacto lo haga cambiar su trayectoria para luego ZAS!!!! en toda la cara!!!!

To drain KI Gero needed to catch the blast with his palms right? High time to fake a Kamehame and guide a Sokidan using baseball skills to fake the angle like in an effect ball throw.

Yamcha is like: I'M DONE WITH YOUR SHIT, DR GERO!!!

THAT, RIGHT THERE, that last panel is what made me enjoy the Androids very very much. Surreal calm, ultimate control, ghost-like movements due to their robotic nature, and the moment you make the mistake of forgetting about their draining trick, excited evil grin shows up.

FLAWLESS.
